On Sunday, May 12, I had the pleasure of attending a delightful BBQ party near the Futakoshinchi river with fellow members of Nakase Lab. This gathering was organized as a warm welcome for Ono-san, a new master’s student in our lab, and Dr. Alaa from Egypt, who will be joining us for the next ten months.
The highlight of the BBQ for me was the delicious halal meat, which was both flavorful and tender. It was wonderful to see the effort put into accommodating everyone’s dietary preferences, ensuring that all could enjoy the meal together. Sharing good food is always a great way to bond, and this occasion was no different.
The BBQ location by the river was perfect, even though the weather was windy. Special thanks to Okamura-san and Suzuki Taiga-kun, who organized this welcome party.
The BBQ party not only allowed us to welcome our new colleagues but also strengthened our team spirit. It was a day filled with laughter, good food, and meaningful connections. I am particularly looking forward to working closely with Dr. Alaa and am confident that his expertise will be a valuable addition to our lab.
