Having the opportunity to attend GLOBAL 2024, held from October 7-9, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan. As the largest international forum covering various aspects of nuclear technology, including fuel cycles and reactor systems, GLOBAL has been a key platform since its initiation in 1993.
During the event, I presented my research on the "Separation
Behavior of Am/Cm on DGA Resin in Hydrochloric Acid Aqueous Solution"
aiming to develop advanced actinide analysis using ICP-MS. It was a great
experience to share my work and discuss it with researchers from around the
world.
Before the reception ceremony, our lab at the Tokyo Institute of
Technology, now the Institute of Science Tokyo, welcomed students and
researchers from Seoul National University. I believe that meeting new people,
building connections, and engaging in discussions always inspires new ideas for
my research.
I am truly grateful for this enriching experience and look forward
to applying the insights gained to my future work!
